It is a safe place for kids to come, have fun and learn a valuable life skil

My Son Tom has been with the club since 2006. He started at age 6 and now at 14 has achieved his first poom black belt. It is a great achievement for him, with the help and guidance of Master Hogan plus the friendship and help from the other students he has grown into a fine young man with respect for others and a need to keep himself fit and healthy. It is a great fun and education enviornment where kids can come and learn a new way of life, for life. Tolerance and respect for others is a priority here, it is a safe place for kids to come, have fun and learn a valuable life skill too.

"Looking forward to many more years with the Irish taekwondo Tigers"

"My son Shane has been with the Irish Taekwondo Tigers for the past 6 years, he’s now 11 and currently a red belt. Shane has gained so much from taekwondo, not just belts. Master Michelle has taught him, and all the kids, respect, kindness, patience, motivation, discipline, concentration, coordination, fitness and flexibility! All this is done through a fun and safe environment! The black belt girls have also been fantastic with the smaller children, they are a great credit to Michelle and of course their parents! Shane absolutely loves going to training and we are looking forward to many more years with the Irish Taekwondo Tigers."

Fun is always at the heart of our training. As a club we make the most of every opportunity and encourage each other to be the best we know we can be."

"I couldn't recommend Irish Taekwondo Tigers any higher"

"My daughter started with Irish Taekwondo Tigers aged 8, she’s been with the club 8 years now and in that time I’ve watched her grow in confidence and skill from the training she’s had from Master Michelle and the interaction from her club mates. For anyone with young kids thinking about getting them involved in martial arts i couldn’t recommend Irish Taekwondo Tigers any higher, I’ve never regretted getting her involved in the club as I’ve only had positive experiences from day 1."

"There is a great a atmosphere in the club"

"My three children (aged 8-13) have been Irish Taekwondo Tigers students for three years. They all attend the same class two nights a week and wouldn’t dream of missing a class. It’s amazing to see how, after just a couple of months of Michelle’s patient and good-natured discipline, they pay attention, have learned to focus and became motivated to do well.

The classes are a real physical workout, with plenty of drills, practice and hard work and the kids got very fit quickly as a result. They learn sequences of movements strung together called “Patterns” for competitions which is brilliant for their co-ordination, concentration and memory. They also compete to earn different colored belts a couple of times a year.

The kids also enter sparring competitions against other clubs where they take on other kids. In the beginning, this was the most intimidating part for my kids. However, with Michelle’s gentle but firm guidance they took the plunge. Although initially it was a shock to the system, they did spar that day and many times since. Slowly but surely they toughened up.

Michelle is a gifted teacher who has coached my three kids to the point that they are now motivated to improve their fitness and technique. They want to build stamina and flexibility as they become more experienced and interested in Taekwondo, and are becoming positively competitive.

There is a fantastic atmosphere at the club with older students helping to coach and look after the younger and newer children. There is a social side with parties and pizzas, as well as occasional outings. Michelle expects all students to do their best but has a great sense of humor and fairness, so everyone works very hard but in a supportive and fun atmosphere.

The Irish Taekwondo Tigers is a great family club and I cannot recommend it highly enough."

My two sons ages 12 and 9, have been part of the Irish Taekwondo Tigers family for over 6 years. I honestly can't find the words to express how much we appreciate Master Michelle and how much she has done for them. She not only teaches the students Taekwondo, but also respect, for themselves and others while also building their confidence. Michelle ensures that each child is catered for according to their needs and always has time to listen to each student. Taekwondo is taught in a relaxed environment with all learning made fun. She went above and beyond during covid lockdown to keep kids spirits up with her fantastic online classes. The end of term parties are always a major hit with all the kids. I highly recommend the club, you will not find a better place for your kids to grow and flourish.

“She seems to have a keen insight into how the young minds work”

My daughter joined Taekwondo Tigers this year and loves going to classes. They are not easy, and she really has to push herself. But her confidence continues to grow as she gains new skills in a fun and challenging environment. She recently got her first belt and her smile said it all. Master Michelle is a great role model for any young person. She seems to have a keen insight into how the young minds work and it's lovely to see her bringing out the best in them. Kudos.

My daughter Viola started with Irish Taekwondo Tiger a year and a half ago and she has developed so much on different areas:

- physical: there is a good exercise that makes her stronger and keeps her healthy

- coordination, speed and agility are skills she constantly improves

- mental: practicing on self defence helps her development and her self confidence

On top of all these, Master Michelle sets an atmosphere of respect, cooperation, help and support to each other.

Viola participated in an International Competition recently for which Master Michelle has helped preparing the participants, even staying longer after the training for the ones who needed. Seeing the commitment from everyone has been mind blowing. It made her so proud to be competing against others and feeling part of a team of athletes supporting each other.

Viola has gained so much confidence in herself and made new friends too!

Master Michelle trains these kids in sport and in life!

Thank you very much!
